The Sophia Bespoke Flower Girl Dress and First Communion Dress
In Greek, the name Sophia means ‘Wisdom’. Saint Sophia the Martyr died in AD 137 and her feast day in the Catholic Church is the 15th May. She is often shown as a woman accompanied by her three daughters who were named: Faith, Hope and Charity after the virtues.
The bodice of this bespoke white or ivory first holy communion dress or flower girl dress is made of a beautiful high quality ivory pure silk or white satin with a diamanté motif on the sash which people will be sure to comment on.
