Description
The Thistle is found throughout the highlands, islands and lowlands of Scotland. The prickly purple thistle has been Scotland’s national emblem for centuries. Legend has it that when Scotland was part of the kingdom of Norway the Scottish clansmen would plant the prickly thistles to alert them when the Norsemen were creeping bare foot through the undergrowth.
The Thistle dress is a pure silk dress with lace sleeves and a wide silk belt.

The dress is fully lined with a button fastening at the back and a gathered waistline. As we make all of our dresses to order we can make changes to all of our styles including: a full button back, puff sleeves or elbow length sleeves, if you prefer.
