Nobody really knows where the Sweet Pea originated and the possibilities range from China, Ceylon and South America. Where ever it came from, we at Gilly Gray LOVE it for its beautiful, delicate flowers and heavenly scent. Originally there were only five varieties of sweet pea in maroon, black, purple, scarlet a white and ‘Painted Lady’ which is still the very best and most highly scented sweet pea you can grow today.
The Sweet Pea flower girl dress is a handmade to measure pure cotton flower girl dress with a pink floral pattern as in the photograph but it also comes in many other colours and prints.
The dress comes with a ribbon sash in ivory or white as standard. We can also add a diamante motif if required at an extra cost. Just send us an email asking to see the diamante motifs.
This pretty flower girl dress has butterfly sleeves and the bodice is lined and does up at the back with a row of pretty pearl buttons. We have a vast range of floral patterns available – please email us at [email protected] to request the floral swatch cards.
As we make all of our dresses to order we can make any changes to the styles including puff sleeves, elbow length sleeves, a petticoat or a different coloured sash, if you prefer.
These dresses are made-to-order and available in sizes 3 months to 12 years (if you would like a larger size please email us)
