Description
The peony flower is named after the beautiful nymph Paeonia who attracted the attention of Apollo. When Paeonia realizes that Aphrodite is watching them she becomes bashful and turns red with embarrassment and as a result, Aphrodite turns the beautiful nymph into a red peony.
The Peony bespoke, handmade flower girl dress is also perfect as a first holy communion dress and comes in ivory or white with an 8 layered skirt and satin ribbon sash. The bodice is made of a beautiful high quality pure silk or white satin that people will be sure to comment on.
The back of the dress has a delicate pearl button fastening and the sash is made of wide lace. This flower girl dress is fully lined – the bodice is lined with silk and the skirt is satin lined. The skirt has a total of 24 meters of soft bridal tulle with an anti-static satin lining.
As we make all of our bespoke flower girl dresses and first holy communion dresses to order we can make any changes to the styles including: a full button back, puff sleeves or elbow length sleeves, if you prefer. We can also add a fuller skirt.
These dresses are made-to-order and available in sizes 3 months to 12 years (if you would like a larger size please email us).
